We can teach accountancy or architecture, plumbing or plastering, in fact almost any trade or profession, but there is one notable exception… Nothing can prepare us for what it’s like to sit in the boss’s chair. That day when we are surrounded by people who look to us for all the answers. That day when we can no longer kick a problem upstairs, for now, we are the upstairs.
